"Enterprise" and "Professional" users can generate and use an API key to access Web Map Service endpoints. Each user is limited to a single API key, which is securely hashed before being stored in our database. For security reasons, the API key is only visible at the time of generation and cannot be retrieved later.
To generate an API key through your profile panel, follow these steps:
- Log in to FastMap Workspace.
- Click the Profile button in the top-left corner.
- Select Integration from the list, then click API.
- If you already have an API key, it will be listed in the API Keys table.
- If not, click the GENERATE API KEY button.
- Enter a name for your API key.
- Copy and store the generated API key securely before clicking Create, as it cannot be retrieved later. If lost, you will need to generate a new one.
- Click Create to finalize the process.
